Also, at the time of its release on January 24, 1998, 420,000 Seoul audiences were mobilized and the Blue Dragon Film Awards Best Picture, New Director, Best Actress, Cinematography, Baeksang Arts Awards, Best Picture, Best Actress, Grand Bell Awards, Best New Director , the Special Jury Award, the Korean Film Critics Association Award for Best Picture, and the Best Actress Award, and was recognized as the best film in name and reality.
